Here it is folks. It’s been a while since we’ve seen anything new from Final Fantasy XV. Visually, it looks incredible. Square Enix never has trouble convincing their fan base they can make a beautiful looking game. However, it’s the gameplay that usually causes an uproar. From what we can tell from the trailer, Square Enix is once again switching things up with their battle system. Traditional turn based strategy seems to be relatively absent, replaced with a more action based formula. Personally, I don’t mind what battle system they adapt, as long as the story is good. It’s still to early to tell if it’ll be worth picking up, but this trailer is surely to cause some debate.
Final Fantasy XV will be available for PS4 and Xbox One down the road. Square Enix has confirmed on their site that the demo will be included with FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD.
